Petals to the People is a human-scale flower farm focused on regenerative, organic growing practices. Growing on just one quarter of an acre in New Jersey, Petals to the People serves both retail and wholesale customers in Brooklyn, New York with high quality, fresh, and seasonal cut flowers.
We hope our flowers remind you to take some time for yourself and your community. It is our privilege to serve you by bringing beauty into your everyday lives.
About the grower
Mariah is the grower behind Petals to the People. After spending a season as a farmhand on an organic vegetable market garden in Québec, Mariah fell in love with small-scale, intensive farming. As a life-long gardener, her love of growing cut flowers grew much like the plants she tends—slowly, steadily, and then like a weed.
When she is not growing cut flowers, Mariah is an attorney for survivors of domestic violence in New York City. She is based in Brooklyn.
